Like all professional counsellors I do not push my own personal, or religious, agenda on you. I am here to help you work out what you want to achieve and how you might get there.
I am available to see people on Tuesdays, Thursday and Saturdays between the hours of 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Also on Sundays between 1:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m.
The number of sessions depends on the nature of the presenting issues and the needs of the individual client.
I know what it’s like, from personal experience, to be very wary of the counselling process and of individual counsellors. I also know what it’s like to say, “I don’t want to go down a dead end.” Some people find the counselling experience can be fraught with disappointment.
Yes. Skype is a perfect medium by which that can be done. Feel free to talk to me about how that can be arranged.
I am open to varying my fees dependent on individual circumstances. Particularly in cases where a longer term counselling relationship is necessary or if you are facing challenging financial circumstances. Please feel free to raise your concerns regarding these issues at any time.
Seeing a counsellor can be quite challenging and daunting, especially the first appointment. As such, the first session is a getting to know each other time. It is a time for you to talk about your main concern. This can involve sharing your frustrations, disappointments, failed attempts, or confusion regarding your presenting problem. I believe it is important that you leave the first session with real hope and an understanding of the possibilities regarding a way forward.
